Volunteer

The Vancouver Native Health Society Eastside Dental Clinic is in need of volunteer dental hygienists.  Their hygiene hours are Wednesdays 9 am – 4 pm, Fridays 12 – 4 pm.  They will also work around your schedule if you are available on other days of the week.  For details and contact information click here.

Translink Health Fairs. BCDHA is seeking dental hygiene volunteers to set up and facilitate an oral health exhibit/display at a number of Translink health fairs across the Lower Mainland. For details and contact information click here.

BC Special Olympics. “Calling All Volunteers”. On July 12th and 13th the City of Langley will play host to the BC Special Olympics Provincial Summer Games, where an expected 1200 special athletes will compete in their chosen sport. During the games, the “Special Smiles” health-screening program is planning to provide each athlete with an oral screening examination; an athletic mouthguard for those playing contact sports; personalized oral hygiene information, products, and coaching; and fluoride varnish treatments.
