Our affordable low cost services include: complete oral health assessment; removal of tooth deposits - plaque, calculus, stain; x-rays; application of fluoride; protective sealants; oral health education including dietary counseling.

Low-Cost Dental Hygiene Clinic Since 1986

  •  VCC Dental Hygiene students provide clinical care 12 months a year all supervised by experienced instructors.
  • Treatments for new adult patients range from $35-$80; children’s fee is $20.
  • The first re-care (recall) visit is included in the fee.
  • Fee includes screening, mouth & dental exams, x-rays, scaling, root planing & other gum therapies, tooth polishing, fluoride, home care education and many treatments and referrals as needed.
  • All Dental Hygiene care is carefully planned and tailored to specific patient needs with your consent.

Dental Hygiene Clinic
  • Patients must attend a short screening appointment to determine eligibiltiy for treatment.
  • If you are eligible for treatment your name will be put on file. A dental hygiene student will contact you to set up appointment.
  • Each appointment may be as long as 3 hours.
  • The number of appointments depends on condition of teeth & gums.
  • We will present a treatment plan with estimated numbers of appointments, cost, benefits of treatment, risks of treatment and expected outcome of treatment after completion of a comprehensive assessment of your mouth.
  • Treatment is supervised at all times by  licensed Dental Hygiene instructors.

FEES:   The fee you pay covers only the materials used during your treatment.  You will be given a cost estimate prior to start of treatment.
