New Guide for Dental Hygienists
This document has been developed to guide dental hygienists in a clinical practice setting to minimize the risk of occupational exposure to blood and body fluids and to provide instruction on the appropriate follow-up if exposure occurs.

Do you have concerns about your office’s compliance?
WorkSafeBC will accept anonymous inquiries or complaints (they will allow you to report anonymously). WorkSafeBC will ask for a phone number in case additional information is required. Your name will not be shared with your employer, and your employer will not know if the inquiry was made by an employee or member of the public.
