Daljeet (Jade) Badohal

(Term 2020-2023)

Daljeet (Jade) received her Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2009 and has been practicing in various cities such as Vancouver, Delta and Saskatoon. She also has an M.Sc. Degree in Microbiology and Food Technology; B.Sc. Degree in Biological Sciences; Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) and a Diploma in Information Technology.

Before working as a dental hygienist, she worked as a Microbiology Lecturer teaching Post-Secondary courses, and as a Vice-Principal in the public school system for about ten years in total. Jade currently works at Landmark Dental Centre in Kelowna.

As a Canadian citizen with an Indo-Canadian background, she hopes to add to the cultural diversity and neurodiversity on the board, as a significant part of her education and learning came from outside Canada. She is confident of bringing a broader, global vision to the board and fresh perspectives to better help clients in B.C.

Jade is the mother of a 15-year-old daughter and an eight-year-old son. Her husband is a health professional and works with a B.C. Government organization.
